The Northern Small Business Emergency Relief Fund is the first fundraising project for Love The North. With the funds we are raising for the Emergency Relief fund, we will be able to support small businesses in the North who have fallen through the cracks of the Government's Coronavirus financial aid package and be able to offer small grants to cover emergency situations such as repairs, severe staff shortages or legal fees.

This emergency relief fund is designed to help small businesses in the North of England who have been disproportionately affected by the economic impact of Covid-19 or who have not been able to receive financial aid from the the UK Government.

The nature of these grants are small, one off payments to fund specific, business critical needs such as repairs, legal fees or other necessities to keep your business operational.

Grants are available up to the value of £1,000 but smaller amounts are advised to allow more people to access the fund.

The applications for funding round one will be assessed as one batch on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 by an independent panel. Any unsuccessful applicants will be provided with feedback on their request and further support and signposting to alternative resources.

Please note: we will not be able to consider applications who cannot provide sufficient information in the below form and we may at any time, request further evidence of any claims made.

Applications for businesses based in Scotland will also be considered but may be subject to additional checks.
